Satin Fabric
Sateen is a strong, lustrous, mercerized, satin-weave fabric made of cotton, blends of cotton with polyester, or spun-yarn fabric characterized by floats running in the filling direction. It is used for linings, draperies, and comforters.
One of our specialties is a shiny, smooth cotton natural fiber woven in satin weave. It has a smooth, lustrous surface because the warp floats. It is used for linings of coats, jackets, facings, and ties. It is also used for draperies, upholstery, bedspreads, and sheets. Satin weave has proved so popular that various types of satin-weave fabrics have developed.
